Donations and sponsorships

Serving to better serve

We believe it’s essential to give back to the communities that have supported us and contributed to our growth since our beginnings in 1930.

Over the years, requests for donations and sponsorships have increased and are now numerous. To ensure that this management is fair, equitable, and organized, we adhere to the company’s donation and sponsorship policy.

We have chosen to prioritize causes related to families and children, as well as organizations that directly impact our community.

Here are the general acceptance criteria:

  • The organization or event must be non-profit;
  • The organization or event must have a positive impact on the community;
  • The sponsorship must favor families and children, as well as groups of individuals from the St-Laurent Cheese Factory area; — We directly favor recognized foundations, associations, and organizations that champion causes (health, education, etc.) over participants in independent events supporting these same causes, unless the event is large-scale;
  • The number of participants and media coverage may justify Fromagerie St-Laurent’s participation;
  • St-Laurent Cheese Factory must reach as many people as possible (for example, the sponsorship must not serve as a gift to the organizers but rather must be aimed at event participants).
